Random mini rants

The car developed a leaky roof on the first day of nine days of rain. I've always thought it would be cool to drive a car with a jacuzzi built in; having the world's smallest swimming pool in your change tray is just sad. (The inside of the apartment contains lots of interesting upholstery bits, mostly dried out at this point)

LEGO seems to be having trouble keeping adult interest in Factory high. I think they're focusing too much on the idea that kids will build models they think are cool and parents will buy the model for them. It's frustrating watching a model consisting of "Please vote for my models" spelled out in LEGO bricks rocket up the ranks... who the hell is voting for these things as cool models?

Time to officially throw in the towel on the idea of contracting and just go get a full time job. I'm not sure if I was thinking more of consulting than contracting (I just don't have enough experience for that yet) or if the market is currently not there for what I want to do.
